Okay, so, we have this boss at work. Everyone loves him, but he is definitely a bit of a unicorn. He is a gambler. And there's nothing wrong with gambling as long as you keep it under control. I could have taken the money I paid for the raffle ticket and gone and purchased my own gift basket right from the grocery store.

So, at this point, we are already concerned about the amount of money we have to pay for this raffle. Unfortunately, it would only get worse from there. As we took a look at the items included in the raffle, we immediately had memories of awful garage sales in our neighborhoods growing up. Have you ever been to a garage sale and wondered why the person wasn't simply throwing all of that stuff away? We had the same thought when we took a look at the items included in the raffle.

Ultimately, he decided that it was a good idea to return the money. Most people were happy that they got their money back, but a few of us sympathized with him.
