About JoyRide

Project 7 is a specialty candy brand based in Orange County, California. Its name comes from its noble social mission -- to use part of profits to help support seven areas of basic humanitarian need, both domestically and abroad. The company's mandate is to give at least 10% of profits annually, but historical track records show they are 30-50% of their profits.

Founder Tyler Merrick has always been into social entrepreneurship, citing their successes come from "falling, getting back up with the help of Good Samaritans themselves along the way."

Combining his do-gooder spirit with his "inner Willy Wonka," Tyler has build a brand based on award-winning gums, gummy bears and other creatively infused organic candies, called "chewies."

Each product is made in America with both domestic and international ingredients and are available at retailers such as Target, Starbucks, Whole Foods, Cost Plus World Market, HEB, Wegmans, Caribou Coffee, Meijer, Dollar General, and REI.
