About Tick Tock Tea

Over a century ago, Tick Tock founder Benjamin Ginsberg, pioneered rooibos making inspired by traditional Chinese tea production methods. Since then, five generations of the Ginsberg family have been trading, cultivating, and championing rooibos tea.

It is science and art in equal measure, artisans carefully monitor the leaves’ color, texture, and moisture to decide when the rooibos is ready. One sign is that the local honeybees arrive, attracted by the deliciously sweet scent.
