Sweetwood was launched in 2010 by Ryan Wood, co-founder of the performance apparel giant Under Armour. As a former collegiate and NFL athlete, as well as a lifelong adventure sports junkie, Ryan learned early on that protein rich nutrition was key to keeping him fueled for whatever laid before him. But finding high quality protein snacks that he could feel good about, and that satisfied his appetite, wasn’t always an easy task.
Not one to walk away from a challenge, Ryan returned to his roots in Steamboat Springs, CO and acquired a small family cattle ranch, where he developed the idea for what are now FATTY Smoked Meat Sticks.
Today, Sweetwood Smoke & Co. crafts the biggest meat sticks available anywhere in the Country, with the aim of satisfying seriously BIG appetites.
