The Linocut Printmaking Kit helps you create stunning prints that you will be eager to share! Linocut is a printmaking style that uses technics similar to woodcutting. Instead of using a block of wood, crafters carve a relief design into a linoleum surface. After this handmade linocut is complete, you cover it with ink and print your work onto a paper or fabric surface! These prints are excellent for cards and memos to gift to friends and family!
This craft kit includes a five piece carving knife set, two pieces of linoleum, and all the materials needed for printmaking. In addition to designs and transfer paper to help inspire illustration, this kit also has five pieces of cardstock for the final prints. Crafters will need scissors.
This project takes about an hour, depending on the detail and size of the design you are inspired to make. The final linocut prints are about 4x5 inches. With two linoleum surfaces to carve and plenty of tools to share, this is a great activity to do with a friend.
