To say that Rane Roatta has a passion for tropical Florida fruits would be an understatement. He started selling fruit at farmer's markets in South Florida in 2015, picking up fruit from local farms on his bicycle.

His bike was eventually replaced by a car, and then a van, and by 2016 his Facebook friends were reaching out to him to ship some of his spectacular fruits around the United States. He turned to his partner, Edelle Schlegel, for help, and Miami Fruit was formally born.

Nowadays, Roatta and Schlegel work with hundreds of local South Florida fruit growers, and they even own their own seven-acre farm to experiment with new rare fruit varieties. The fruit they source usually ships the day after it’s picked, and it’s most often fruit that simply can’t be found outside of the Tropical Climate.

From watermelon guava, to yellow dragonfruit, to cacao, to durian, to Variety Boxes brimming with a mix of tropical fruits, South Florida’s rarest & most jaw-dropping tropical and exotic fruits are shipping nationwide thanks to MiamiFruit!
