These delicate French pastries were a staple in their house growing up. If she didn't have one for breakfast she was sure to get one from her grandmother when she picked her up from school in Paris. It is lightly sweetened and goes wonderful with tea, coffee, yogurt and berries or just by itself. Its a small buttery light and fluffy cake bite perfect to have on hand in a pretty jar by the coffee machine.
One of her baking mixes will make 24 full size vanilla bean madeleines. Their mix includes all the dry ingredients for you including some delicious vanilla, sugar, and flour.
Just add a few fresh ingredients like eggs and butter and you are ready to bake!
You can also bake these in batches ( 12 madeleines per batch)
All the pre measured dry ingredients including flour, sugar, vanilla powder, and baking powder for 24 full size madeleines
