Luid Lokal launched on September 2020 in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. It started by looking for ways to use the time to help communities whose livelihoods were affected by the crisis. This blooming e-commerce business aims to help small makers market their products nationwide and internationally. Since the first product line is wooden wares from Pampanga, we decided to use the beautiful Kapampangan word Luid which means “Mabuhay” in Tagalog. Luid Lokal means “Mabuhay Lokal” with an unofficial tagline “Celebrating Local Products.”
